Mitchell Family Dermatology is currently in network with the following providers:

• CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield
• Medicare
• Aetna
• United
• Cigna
• Maryland Physicians Care

We are not currently in network with Johns Hopkins Health Plans (Advantage MD, Priority Partners, Employer Health Programs and US Family Health Plan) but we are actively appealing to be added to their currently closed panel. Do not hesitate to contact your health plan directly to let them know if you would like to continue care with Dr. Mitchell.

Meanwhile, we will update our insurance page as we become an approved in-network provider. As this is an ongoing process, please don’t hesitate to call us to check if we are in network for your insurance plan.

In the event that we are not a participating provider with your health insurance plan or you do not have health insurance coverage, we will be happy to provide care for you as a self-pay patient. You will be responsible for all charges at the time of service. We will provide you with the necessary paperwork and documentation to submit your bill to your insurance so they can reimburse you directly.
